May Week is a national program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. that was created in 1920. Traditionally, a week in May is set aside for programs highlighting academic and professional achievements, with an emphasis on education. 

As part of our May Week Celebration, the Brooklyn Alumnae Chapter invites the public to our FREE Community Day - "Discover Your Neighborhood" event on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 10AM - 3PM.

In collaboration with the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation and the Bedford-Stuyvesant Youth, Education and Safety Task Force, we present to you a day full of activities, information, performances, music, vendors, health screenings, art, and more. Appropriate for all ages, everyone will find something to enjoy.
