🔺 GOOD TROUBLE IS NOT JUST HISTORY. IT'S OUR CALL TO ACTION! 🔺

BROOKLYN, WE ARE MOBILIZING TO THE VOTE!

The Brooklyn Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invites you to a powerful edition of CANDID Conversations on Voting Rights: The Legacy of Good Trouble.

The late Congressman John Lewis dedicated his life to justice, equality, and protecting the fundamental right to vote. His legacy reminds us that democracy requires more than remembrance. It requires participation, courage, and ACTION!

As we approach Election Day, we are bringing together voices who knew his work, helped tell his story, and continue his fight for voting rights.

🎤 FEATURING AN EXTRAORDINARY CONVERSATION WITH:

🔺 Members of Congressman John Lewis's family, sharing his personal legacy and enduring impact.

🔺 The filmmakers behind the John Lewis: Good Trouble Documentary, exploring the man, the movement, and the mission.

🔺 Lawmakers instrumental in passing the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act of New York State, discussing the importance of protecting access to the ballot.

🔺 Congressman Lewis's former Director of communications offering firsthand reflections on his leadership and lifelong commitment to justice.

This is more than a conversation. It's a call to mobilize!
