Community Involvement

From time to time, the Chapter will invite members of the community to participate in community service activities. Interested persons should check below often for updates and contact the Community Service Liaison (right) to learn more.

Youth Program Volunteers

According to the National Risk Management policy of Delta Sigma Theta, any individual participating in Delta’s youth initiatives is defined as a volunteer. This applies to members of Delta Sigma Theta and non‐members (i.e., Deltas and non‐Deltas). Here are some of the main requirements for becoming a Volunteer.

·         Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older

·         Volunteers must complete the application process.  Provided here for your convenience

·         Volunteers must undergo and pass a criminal background check every three (3) years using Delta’s approved background check vendor

·         Volunteers must complete risk management training on an annual basis

Please contact the youth program you're interested in working with and/or riskbrooklynalumnasdst@gmail.com for additional information on fulfilling our volunteer requirements.
